Pivot Kirklees offers a therapeutic, nurture-based provision for neurodiverse learners with complex SEMH and associated learning needs. Our main sites in Kirklees are supported by our Salus House provision, the Pivot Outreach Programme (POP) and our Pivot 6 provision commissioned by Bradford Local Authority.

Kirklees has been awarded ‘Significant Strength in Leadership and Management’, the highest ISI inspection grading. Katie Lockwood, Head of Kirklees Academy, is a nationally recognised voice on specialist SEND education and future workforce preparation.

Kirklees is home to several specialist provisions: Salus House (Primary Day 6, commissioned by Kirklees LA), the Pivot Outreach Programme (POP) for learners aged 14–18 out of education for 6+ months, and Pivot 6 for KS4 learners permanently excluded from mainstream school.
