Our Extended Provision

More than a school, a network of support.

Kirklees is home to several specialist provisions: Salus House (Primary Day 6, commissioned by Kirklees LA), the Pivot Outreach Programme (POP) for learners aged 14–18 out of education for 6+ months, and Pivot 6 for KS4 learners permanently excluded from mainstream school.

At Kirklees, we design provision to reflect the real needs of local young people. Our curriculum is stage-not-age, our approach is relational, and our staff are trained to notice what others might miss. Young people come to us having tried other settings, and find, often for the first time, somewhere that truly works for them.
